I have always had an interest in natural remedies, but it was not until I began reading the labels of the bath and body products that my children were using that I began working on creating high quality, natural, and organic products.
In a quest for personal peace in a hectic life, I began mindfully creating my own personal products incorporating water charged under the light of the full moon, intention, and symbolism. My self-care routine became a regular practice in living a more intentional life that has played a key role in becoming a more balanced and peaceful being.

There are so many products on the market today that contain ingredients that were only added to improve their look, feel, or smell, but otherwise are of no benefit and can even be harmful.
At Soul Glow, we strive to create luxurious formulas that look, feel, and smell amazing with only ingredients that actually benefit you. Our Divine Lotions and Scrubs are scented only with organic essential oils, absolutes, and extracts chosen specifically for the scents they created with the bonus that those oils, absolutes, and extracts increase the benefits that you receive.
Our commitment to providing high quality products extends to our candles as well. All Soul Glow candles are created using all natural, clean burning soy wax and fragrance oils free from phthalates, toxins, and known carcinogens so that they burn without polluting your environment.
What it means to be “mindfully” created.
Being mindful is about being fully present for whatever it is you are doing. It is the art of not multitasking, or existing on auto pilot, but instead immersing yourself in each experience.
At Soul Glow, mindfulness is the foundation of our creation process. Creation days in the workshop begin with meditation and the clearing of any negativity from within ourselves and our physical space. Symbols of the intentions we will be working with are placed around the workshop which serve to support us in maintaining focus on the intentions while we work. Electronics are put away.

A true practitioner of the soul. Raquel started Soul Glow Apothecary after struggling with reactions to ingredients in self-care products her children were using. She discovered how toxic some of the ingredients of common skin care products and commercial candles were and set out on her journey to create candles that did not negatively impact the home and handmade, organic all-natural skin care products using water charged with the energy of the full moon, embracing her roots of Amazonian heritage and healing.
